our Deep Eddy Vodka production facility in Buda, TX. Schedule for
this position is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, working a 12 (twelve)
hour shift, 5:30am-6:00pm. What the Role IsThe Industrial
Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing highly
diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain
production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive
and preventive maintenance systems, and processes to support the
achievement of business goals. The Maintenance Mechanic will assist
in the daily operation and direction of the maintenance function,
work closely with the Weekend Bottling Supervisor and act as a lead
on designated activities and interface with operators and external
contacts in the accomplishment of organizational goals and
objectives. How You Will Spend Your Time?Perform routine repairs
and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent
malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly
repairsTroubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by
examining equipment and mechanical devicesParticipate in the
purchasing of new machinery and equipment, contacting equipment
manufacturers to understand equipment capabilities and to order
partsAssist in line changes and process improvementsFabricate
repair parts by using machine shop equipmentClean equipment,
lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace
parts and components as requiredMaintain records of all maintenance
activitiesConduct preventive maintenance measures on structures,
equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilitiesSupervise
contractors carrying out work within facilitiesControl downtime by
informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance
techniques and monitor complianceMaintain equipment, parts and
supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory
levels and anticipating required equipment, parts and
suppliesSupport and contribute to team effort by accomplishing
related results and training production employees on efficient
operation and basic routine maintenance proceduresMaintain positive
work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that
promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and

Required Skills and Experience:Associate’s Degree in Mechanical,
Electrical or Industrial Maintenance, Maintenance Journeyman’s Card
or equivalent certificationMinimum 4 years of experience working as
Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in Industrial Maintenance
manufacturing environment, including strong hydraulic, pneumatic,
mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience Working
knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniquesExcellent
mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of maintenance procedures
and interpretation of written and oral directions, including
blueprints, construction plans, drawings, assembly
instructionsWorking knowledge of machine tools including conveyors,
packaging equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentMust possess
excellent communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting
skills, and a work history that demonstrates a good work ethic,
excellent attendance and the ability to contribute to the
production of a quality product safelyHigh degree of initiative,
creativity, self-direction, and respect for the safety rules and
proceduresGood interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team
environmentMust have good oral and written communication skills to
effectively direct and provide instruction to othersMust be capable
of making timely decisions utilizing logic and sound judgment

Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Spirits Industry Exposure to Lean
Manufacturing continuous improvement techniquesProficient with MIG
