Job Description Job Description This is a company in AUSTIN, TX (must be willing to relocate or commute) Open Positions: • Superintendents: $80-$120K, company card • Director of Operations: $150K commission, company vehicle, company card SUPERINTENDENT Heavy Civil / Utilities / Site Development Responsibilities • Lead daily field operations for civil construction projects, including earthwork, underground utilities (wet/dry), concrete, and paving coordination • Plan and manage manpower, equipment, and subcontractors to meet production, schedule, and quality targets • Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and project requirements • Coordinate inspections, testing, and field documentation • Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, owners, and subcontractors • Track daily production, resolve field conflicts, and proactively address unforeseen conditions Qualifications • 5 years of superintendent experience in heavy civil or site development • Strong knowledge of utility installation, grading, and civil sequencing • Ability to read plans, specifications, and schedules • Proven leadership and safety-first mindset DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Civil Construction Responsibilities • Provide strategic leadership for all construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget • Oversee project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams • Drive standardization of processes, safety programs, and operational best practices • Partner with executive leadership on forecasting, staffing, and growth strategy • Support preconstruction, scheduling, risk management, and project execution across the portfolio • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Qualifications • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil or commercial construction • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously • Strong financial acumen, operational discipline, and client-facing leadership • Experience with utilities, site development, and civil construction operations preferred Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023 -06/22- 088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay - transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
