Job Description:

settings. We are presently offering a rewarding position for a
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) who is enthusiastic
about enhancing communicative skills and fostering the academic
growth of students. This role focuses on supporting Speech-Language
Pathologists in the delivery of quality therapy services in
educational environments. Ideal candidates will share our passion
for making a positive impact on children's lives and their
educational journey. Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in
assessing and treating speech, voice, language, and communication
disorders. Implement speech therapy plans as designed by the lead
Speech-Language Pathologist. Document student progress and
participate in meetings to discuss student outcomes and plans.
Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions according to
the needs and abilities of each child. Adhere to school policies
and ethical standards of the profession, ensuring a safe and
respectful environment for all students. Engage with teachers,
parents, and other educational staff to provide insights on
students' progress and recommendations. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills to interact with children, educational staff,
and parents. Basic understanding of speech therapy techniques and
tools for children with diverse needs. Strong organizational skills
and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Technical
skills to handle therapy equipment and maintain accurate records.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k State
licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Assistant. Compliance with state and federal laws regarding
education and therapy services. Additional certifications in
pediatric or educational support preferred but not required.
