Description Summary The mission of a CoMET Field Technician for HVJ
Construction Material Department, a leading specialty engineering
firm in Texas, is to support the project manager or other staff as
directed to assure client satisfaction following the applicable
standards, specifications and company guidelines. HVJ is also proud
to assist with additional training for certifications. This
includes responsibility for: Perform testing and/or inspection as
assigned with minimum supervision. Document work performed as
appropriate. Provide support to Project Manager as directed.
Project deliverables provided per schedule agreed with client.
Perform duties in a safe, cheerful, efficient and workman like
manner. Ability to acquire additional skills/certifications as
needed. Key Criteria/Requirements: High School Diploma Ability to
lift concrete, soil, or asphalt samples sometimes up to 50lbs.
Ability to tolerate year round outdoor work Ability to travel
occasionally, tolerate shiftwork and sometimes stay overnight.
Valid Texas Drivers License with a relatively clean record. 1-2
years of related experience preferred. ACI or Nuclear Gauge
certification preferred. Ability to acquire related certifications
as needed. Additional Certifications Accepted: NICET, SB101, SB102,
PTI Level 1 & 2 Physical Requirements: The physical demands
