Job Description Job Description Board Repair Technician – Temple, TX Location: Temple, TX Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Overtime & Saturdays as needed Pay: $15.75/hr Temp-to-Perm Opportunity with Excellent Benefits After 90 Days! Are you an experienced Board Repair Technician with a strong background in motherboard diagnostics and component-level troubleshooting ? Crouch Staffing Solutions is hiring a skilled technician to join our team in Temple, TX . This role involves working with a variety of testing equipment, analyzing circuits, and performing precision repairs to ensure high-quality results. What You’ll Do: Troubleshoot, debug, and repair motherboards at the component level . Read and analyze schematics and electronic circuits to identify issues. Disassemble and reassemble computers and peripherals for repair. Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose faults. Perform soldering repairs and adhere to IPC-A-610 standards (preferred). Document and report quality issues as needed. Maintain a high repair throughput while ensuring accuracy. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to protect components. Work collaboratively and efficiently to meet performance expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring: Experience: 3 years of board repair, hardware troubleshooting, and computer repair required. Soldering Skills: 1 year of soldering experience (certification preferred). Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Windows OS, Android-based OS , and PWB (Printed Wiring Board) repair . Equipment Expertise: Familiarity with analog/digital multimeters, oscilloscopes , and other diagnostic tools. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Attention to Detail: Ability to perform precision repairs with fine motor skills . Physical Ability: Lift/move up to 45 lbs, sit/stand for extended periods, and use hand tools safely. Team Player: Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment . Flexibility: Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Work Environment & Safety: Climate-controlled warehouse & office setting Use of hand tools, soldering tools, and cleaning agents Safety-sensitive position requiring strict adherence to procedures Why Join Us?
