Job Description Job Description Appliance Service Center (ASC) has been a leader in appliance repairs for over 40 years, with operations in AZ, CA, NV, TX, OR, and WA. ASC is looking for a Field Service Appliance Repair Technician to join the team. The right candidate will have a knack for juggling multiple tasks at a time. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Diagnose, service, and repair various consumer appliances in-home. - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality service and results. - Seal System repair experience R134 and R600 - Maintain electronic service records and parts inventory. - Follow all manufacturer repair guidelines. - Manage assigned truck stock inventory and the maintenance schedule of an assigned service van. - Must be able to accept remote dispatching through an electronic device. - Meet productivity and efficiency goals as established. - Comply with policies and programs set by ASC. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED required. - Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle with unwavering attention to safety. - A minimum of 2 years of appliance repair experience or related expertise. - A demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of electricity, schematics, and wiring diagrams. - Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. - Must be self-directed and be able to work reasonable overtime. - EPA Certificate not required, but preferred - Diligent use of proper safety procedures and constant awareness of personal safety and the safety of others. - Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs. - Pushing/pulling and moving of major appliances JOB TYPE: Full-time PAY: $300 a month stipend pay 30% commission on all labor Bonus pay BENEFITS: Vision insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) plan, with matching contributions Paid time off Referral program Benefits: - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Company vehicle - Employee assistance program - Employee discount - Flexible schedule - Fuel card - On-the-job training - Paid time off - Paid training - Parental leave - Professional development assistance - Referral program - Safety equipment provided - Tools provided Work Location: On the road
