Job Description Job Description QC Inspector for Aerospace
Machine Shop - CMM Experience Required Purpose: To ensure quality
standards are upheld in order to meet customer requirements and
company quality standards. Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Minimum Education Required: - High School Diploma, GED or 5 years’
shop experience Professional Experience Required: - CMM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED - Inspection with Faro Arm with Verisurf Software or
Keyence CMM Responsibilities: - Inspection with Faro Arm with
Verisurf Software and DISCUS software or experience with Keyence
CMM - Uphold standards set in Quality Manual to ensure adherence to
AS9100 - Inspect parts as required - Responsible for First Article
Inspection while part is in process and upon completion - Complete
AS9102 (First Article Report) - Organize and verify calibration of
tools and measuring instruments Basic Skills Required: - Read and
write English - Read drawings, travelers to determine customer
specification - Proficient in use of precision measuring
instruments, including bore gages, thread gages, I.D, O.D.
micrometers, height gauge, optical comparator, etc. - Understanding
of machine shop practices - Proficient in GD&T - Proficient in
Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Benefits Full time
