Job Description:
Provide leadership, strategic direction and coordination associated
with real estate transactions in support of the objectives and
overall business plan and strategies of Itron, Inc. Lead, direct,
conduct, and monitor these activities globally for Itron. Itron's
Real-Estate services will help drive the business and operating
model changes required to achieve the organization's strategic
vision. This includes everything from architecting the real-estate
future state operating model to designing and leading a real-estate
transition program to putting the model in place. Responsible for
understanding the company's objectives, requirements and the
proposed use of the real estate asset and identifying alternative
solutions and conduct financial analysis, lease vs. buy analysis,
site selection, due diligence, space planning and other associated
activities associated with the negotiation and execution of real
estate transactions and facilities management. Ensure Itron is
operating and maintaining a cost competitive real estate
portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, update and implement real estate management
business processes that reflect best practices and align with
business needs.
Provide management of corporate real estate management budgeting,
outsourcing and third party support.
Collaborate with senior staff to develop real estate portfolio
optimization strategies.
Perform Real Estate status reporting, analysis and data management
for leadership.
Work with legal counsel to prepare real estate contracts in
conjunction with negotiated project business parameters.
Implement and maintain the lease administration database to include
ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Develop and utilize dashboards, benchmarking and other analytical
tools to identify system-wide opportunities and problems and make
recommendations for process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
Past experience implementing strategic policies
Requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
Past experience regularly interacts with senior management or
executive levels on matters concerning several departments and/or
customers
Past experience with establishing and assures adherence to budgets,
schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
Past experience working to change the thinking of, or gain
acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to
the relationship
Accountable for final results and achievement of objectives
Uses strong, established customer relationships to learn about
customer requirements / expectations
Identifies opportunities with existing customers
Leverages knowledge and skills of other functional managers /
project teams

/ operational results, long-term operational effectiveness, and
on-going relationships with customers
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Travel: 10% - 30%
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based
on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and
experience.
Liberty Lake, WA Salary Range - $96,000 - $175,000
San Jose, CA Salary Range - $128,000 - $220,000
