Mitigation Project Manager - San Antonio, TXDepartment: Mitigation OperationsPosition Reports to: Operations ManagerPosition Type: Full-Time - Salaried - ExemptTravel Required: YesSupervises: Restoration Technician(s)Position SummaryThe Mitigation Project Manager plays a key role in delivering timely, high-quality, and profitable restoration services. This position oversees all aspects of mitigation projects-water, fire, mold, and more-from initial site inspection to completion. The goal is to return customers' properties to pre-loss condition with minimal downtime, while exceeding expectations and maintaining clear, professional communication throughout.Core ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and AssessmentConduct or coordinate initial site inspections for assigned projectsDevelop estimates, job scopes, and project timelinesSecure contracts and confirm payment termsField Supervision & CoordinationLead mitigation teams throughout executionCoordinate vendors and subcontractors as neededEnsure on-site safety and adherence to quality standardsClient & Team CommunicationAct as primary point of contact for clients, adjusters, and property managersMaintain clear documentation and timely progress updatesSupport technician development and team moraleCompliance & DocumentationEnforce safety protocols and regulatory complianceMaintain detailed records of costs, communications, and deliverablesTrack equipment usage and project documentation flowIssue Management & Financial OversightIdentify potential challenges early and resolve them efficientlyMonitor project budgets and support billing processesCollaborate with Finance and Operations to track profitability and costsQualificationsRequired:3-5 years of restoration or construction project management experienceStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFamiliarity with mitigation processes and field operationsValid driver's license and ability to travel locallyProficiency with Microsoft Office or Google WorkspacePreferred:Associate or bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or related fieldIICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.)Experience with Xactimate estimating softwareTexas Mold Remediation Worker license (can be obtained after hire)Compensation and Performance IncentivesThis role offers a competitive salary and a performance-based bonus structure. Compensation is tied to project outcomes, quality of delivery, and customer satisfaction.
