As a Registered Nurse at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our nurses enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $20K for student loan payments.We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department on the Mid ---Shift (variable)!--We are a --Level IV Trauma Center with a Primary Stroke Center at the main campus in Cedar Park and a Free Standing Emergency Center in Leander providing faster access to emergency care in the local community. Both locations are available 24/7 with a staff of specialized Emergency Physicians and Registered Nurses along with onsite full-service labs, digital x-ray, CT scan, and ultrasound capabilities allowing us to provide a complete range of emergency diagnostic services.--Job Duties:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goalsMinimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
  • Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.--
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of hire.--
  • TNCC required within one year of hire
  • A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred--
