We are currently looking for a Generalist for our Education Department. This position will be fulltime, days and requires a nursing degree.

Located minutes from downtown Austin, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is a level IV Designated Trauma Center with more than 700 healthcare professionals working together to provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care for Cedar Park and the greater Austin region.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Generalist for our Education Department! This is a fulltime, day position.

Responsibilities

Plans, governs, coordinates and evaluates in-service orientation and continuing education programs for professional nursing personnel. Creates schedules and conducts training programs for staff development, and offers instruction in improved methods of nursing service and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
