*Speech Language Pathologist Feeding Therapist* are listed
below.*Job Summary*:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Pediatric Feeding Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate
will be experienced in providing specialized therapy for children
and adolescents with feeding and swallowing difficulties, including
the use of VitalStim Therapy to address issues related to dysphagia
and other swallowing disorders. As a Feeding Therapist, you will
work closely with children of all ages to improve their ability to
safely eat, drink, and communicate. You will assess, treat, and
educate patients and their families, using a variety of therapeutic
techniques to help individuals achieve optimal feeding and
swallowing function.*Note: This is a PRN Role**Key
Responsibilities:**Assessment and Diagnosis:*Conduct comprehensive
assessments to evaluate the feeding, swallowing, and oral motor
abilities of patients with dysphagia or feeding disorders.Develop
individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, medical
history, and patient needs.Identify and document patient strengths,
challenges, and areas for improvement.*Therapy and
Treatment:*-Provide evidence-based feeding and swallowing therapy
for children of all ages focusing on improving safety, efficiency,
and enjoyment of eating and drinking.-Utilize VitalStim Therapy
(neuromuscular electrical stimulation) to help improve muscle
strength and function related to swallowing and feeding
disorders-Develop and implement strategies for patients with oral
motor dysfunction, sensory processing issues, or other
feeding-related concerns.-Monitor and adjust therapy techniques as
needed based on patient progress.*Collaboration and
Communication:*-Work closely with a multidisciplinary team,
including physicians, speech therapists, and occupational
therapists to ensure comprehensive care and successful treatment
outcomes.-Educate patients and families on the techniques and
exercises to continue therapy at home, ensuring continuity of
care.-Provide ongoing support and counseling for patients and their
families regarding diet modifications, safe swallowing strategies,
and other feeding-related issues.*Documentation and
Reporting:*-Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient
progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in accordance with
regulatory requirements and facility policies.-Review and update
patient records regularly to track progress and adjust treatment
plans as necessary.*Education and Training:*-Stay current with
developments in feeding therapy and VitalStim technology through
continuing education, workshops, and professional
development.*Qualifications:**Education:*-Master's Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.-Certification in
VitalStim Therapy (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of
hire).*Licensure:*-Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language
Pathologist, or other relevant licensure for feeding
therapy.*Experience:*-Previous experience in feeding therapy or
dysphagia management required.-Experience using VitalStim Therapy
preferred*Skills:*-Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
related to swallowing and feeding.-Proficiency in developing and
implementing individualized therapy plans.-Strong organizational
and time-management skills.*Other Requirements:*-CPR-Background
check*Physical Requirements:*-Ability to lift or assist patients as
needed.-Comfortable with frequent interaction with pediatric
patients and caregivers.PRN Pay Range: $85 Evals / $80 Re-Evals /
$70 feeding therapy treatment visitsPay: $70.00 - $85.00 per
