United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Start Date: ASAP Experience Required: 2 years Unit Information: 34 private rooms Staffing: Day Shift: Charge RN, 7 RNs, 3 PCTs, Unit Clerk; Night Shift: Charge RN, 7 RNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios: 5:1 Equipment: GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors EMR: Meditech Job Description: Provide care in a busy cardiac telemetry unit. Perform procedures like stress tests, heart caths, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tubes. Handle advanced respiratory care, including oxygen management and advanced airways. Manage cardiac drips (non-titrated). Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (or ALS) Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation Respiratory experience (advanced airways, oxygen management) United Staffing Solutions Job ID 933235.
