Must-Have: - 2 years of NICU experience Description: The position
is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract assignment on the night
shift. The hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call duties are
required. The unit consists of 65 beds and has over 200 staff
members. Staffing includes charge nurses, team leaders, transport
nurses, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and unit
assistants. Patient ratios can range from 1:1 to 4:1. Key equipment
utilized includes isolators, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps,
and breast pumps. The electronic medical record system is Meditech
and CPN. Permanent positions may be available on the unit.
Candidates with 2 years of level 4 NICU experience are preferred.
Teamwork is essential in this role, so being a team player is
important. A positive attitude and adaptability to change are
valued traits. The dress code includes navy scrubs. Unit policies
and guidelines will be reviewed upon orientation. This unit offers
