Job Description Facility: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple /n Teaching Hospital and Magnet Designated /n Department: Baylor Research Institute /n Shift: Days Clinic Hours Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm /n Status: Full Time 40 hours/week /n Baylor Scott and White Health is looking for an experienced RN to work with our research team in Temple. This unique position will allow the selected individual to cross train and work on studies in Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. Experience in Research is preferred. Gain knowledge on trial phases from start to finish. Learn all aspects of the position. /n Essential Functions of the Role /n /n - Collaborating with departments on research. Working under a research head. Interacting with investigators and managers. Provide education for healthcare professionals. Coordinate with Pharmacy for projects. /n - You will learn to review new study protocols and materials from sponsors. /n - You will screen patients for clinical trial eligibility according to HIPAA standards, which is a core part of your role. /n - You'll help complete study activities by returning supplies, disposing unused stock, and addressing all queries thoroughly. /n - Your responsibilities will also extend to assisting with the preparation of final reports for the Institutional Review Board. /n - You'll develop skills to effectively use the Study Assistant Clinical Trials Management System, as per departmental requirements. /n /n Key Success Factors /n /n - Outstanding ability in both written and spoken communication. /n - Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint. /n - Proven capability to handle time-sensitive projects while adhering to strict deadlines. /n - Best skills in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships. /n - Past experience of less than a year is acceptable, though not mandatory. /n /n Belonging Statement /n We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. Qualifications - Associate's degree. - Registered Nurse (RN) License. - BLS certification within 30 days.
