Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and required certifications for an ambulatory and hospital setting assignment. Responsibilities - Work in an imaging/radiology department with a focus on breast imaging procedures - Ambulatory and inpatient hospital patient population - Perform advanced mammography including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ultrasound-guided biopsies - Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Black scrubs are required - Responsibilities include performing high-quality breast imaging procedures as ordered, preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining imaging records - Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness in collaboration with engineering staff - Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols at all times - Ability to serve diverse patient populations, including pediatric through geriatric - Fifty-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted - Returning employees may be subject to rehire eligibility verification - May be expected to train and orient new team members Requirements - Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist - Active ARRT, BLS, and TMB certifications required - Active TX license required if applicable - Two professional references required for consideration - Flu vaccination required with no exemptions during flu season (August – November) Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610992.
