Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammographer
Technologist to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As
part of our team, you will play a crucial role in our mission to

imaging technologies to assist in the early detection and diagnosis
of diseases, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is committed
to patient safety and comfort while supporting our vision of
empowering communities through health innovation. Perform
mammographic examinations using various types of imaging equipment,
ensuring clarity and accuracy of images. Prepare patients for
procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
to achieve the best diagnostic outcome. Maintain strict compliance
with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment
for patients and staff. Collaborate with radiologists and other
healthcare team members to discuss diagnostic procedures and
interpret results. Manage records and maintain patient
confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Participate
in quality control procedures to ensure the efficacy of equipment
and procedures. Engage in continuous education to keep up with
advances in technology and industry best practices. Proficient in
the use of mammography imaging equipment. Strong understanding of
radiology protocols and anatomy. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work efficiently both
independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong
analytical skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k _Registered Radiologic Technologist
(R.T.) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT). State licensure as required.
