Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification, Texas licensure, and experience with Siemens equipment for a night shift assignment. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital-based imaging department providing multimodality procedures, with at least 25% focus on CT - Serves both ambulatory and hospital patient populations - Uses Siemens imaging equipment with requirement for prior experience - Black scrubs required - Night shift schedule: 3x12s, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Perform high quality multimodality procedures including CT in accordance with established protocols - Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families regarding procedures - Maintain radiation safety standards and use proper sterile techniques for invasive procedures - Assist in inventory management and coordinate with engineers and physicists regarding equipment functionality - Maintain imaging records per departmental policies - Familiarity with iSTAT point of care testing for creatinine levels is required - Role may involve serving as a preceptor and training new team members - 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted - Candidates with previous recent employment at the facility may be subject to additional eligibility verification /n /n Requirements/n - Current ARRT certification and active Texas MRT license required if applicable - BLS (AHA) certification required - Minimum of 1 year of relevant imaging experience - Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment required - Ability to obtain and maintain documentation such as chart requisitions and patient history - Two professional references required for consideration - Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-657548.
