Job Description:
Join our dedicated team at Encompass Health Corporation, where
we provide exceptional, facility-based and home-based patient care
across a network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home
health agencies. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a
critical role in helping patients regain their full potential and
independence under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
You will be engaged in implementing treatment plans, documenting
therapy outcomes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
This position requires a combination of clinical expertise,
compassion, and a dedication to patient-centered care. Implement
treatment plans designed by the physical therapist to improve
patient's mobility and alleviate pain. Regularly document patient's
progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate patients and
families about health maintenance and rehabilitation. Assist in the
use of devices like walkers, crutches or prostheses. Maintain
patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information
confidential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and multitask. Physical stamina
and dexterity. Proficiency in clinical documentation and healthcare
software systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license. CPR and
BLS certification.
