Nurses to join our team of nurses who are committed to the highest
standard of care, integrity and reliability. Hallway Healthcare
provides in-home nursing care to retired Nuclear and Federal
Workers that have received benefits through EEOICPA or FECA. These
are the workers who have retired from Department of Energy
facilities such Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Sandia National
Lab Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Stanford Linear, etc. We also
serve Federal Workers such as US Postal Workers. We offer flexible

Education, License and certification: Graduated from an accredited
school of professional nursing. Current Texas RN License Current
BLS Certificate Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in
this position must be able to perform the following essential job
functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Perform the
initial home care patient visit and re-evaluate the patient’s needs
and progress on a regular basis. Initiate the plan of care under
doctor’s orders. Perform assessments for the home care patient.
Observe, assess, and document symptoms. Monitor reactions and
patient progress. Educate patients and caregivers on disease
processes, medications, plan of care, and individualized treatment
plans. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for in-home
health care. Coordinate patient services. Notify the physician and
other personnel (DON, PT, CM) of change in the patient’s condition.
Perform skill outline in the agency’s approved policy and procedure
manual. Case conference clinicians providing care to ensure
coordination of care. Shall complete clinical notes for each visit,
which must be incorporated into a record on a daily basis. Update
clinical records according to policy and procedures. Update
knowledge and skills by attending in-service programs, continuing
education programs, seminars, and self-study programs annually.
Provide onsite supervision of LVN/CNA. Adhere to state regulations.

Environmental Elements Employee works in a home setting sometimes
with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, they
may have direct exposure to hazardous substances. The role involves
managing challenging interactions with staff, public officials and
private representatives while interpreting and implementing
departmental policies and procedures. Employee will have to travel
to a variety of patient homes and perform in conditions that vary
greatly depending upon the client’s home environment. Some homes
will be clean, neat, and maintained at a comfortable temperature.
Other homes may be cluttered, dirty, with an uncomfortable
