Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC NIH Stroke Certification Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience. Candidates must be willing to float as needed. Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The Emergency Department provides 24/7 care for various emergencies. Common patient complaints include chest pain, shortness of breath, and abdominal pain. The team works to stabilize critical patients experiencing cardiac events, strokes, and trauma. Services include rapid evaluation and treatment of emergency cases. The department has 15 treatment rooms, including trauma and observation areas. On-site services include radiology and laboratory support. Candidates will work with advanced diagnostic equipment and participate in critical care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing protocols. Documentation is performed using the Meditech system. Dress code requires navy scrubs, and personal grooming must adhere to guidelines.
