Advance your perioperative nursing career in the Texas Hill Country while enjoying a supportive surgical team and comprehensive travel nurse benefits. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Kerrville, TX 78028 (Texas Hill Country)/n - Job Title: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative RN / Circulating RN/n - Assignment Type: Travel nurse — 13-week travel assignment/n - Setting: Main Operating Room (OR) – perioperative environment/n - Start Date: March 30, 2026/n - End Date: June 29, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8-hour shifts (06:30 – 15:00), Monday–Friday (late shifts mandatory)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,220 - $2,340/week/n - Call: Required – 3-day weekend per month and 1 day per week minimum (nights/weekends/holidays)/n - Floating: Required to Surgery Center circulating role as needed/n - Scrubs: Provided/n - Facility Housing: Available/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years full-time circulating experience in the Operating Room (perioperative/circulating RN experience)/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA certifications required)/n - CNOR certification preferred/n - Previous charge experience preferred/n - Experience with a broad variety of surgical procedures (excluding heart, brain, and spine)/n - Ability to float to the Surgery Center circulating role as needed/n - First-time travel nurses with the required OR experience are welcome/n - Must be able to work late shifts and participate in required call rotation/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Serve as the primary OR circulator, providing safe, efficient perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures/n - Float to Surgery Center circulating role as needed to support surgical services/n - Participate in call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled/n - Assist with a broad range of surgical cases (excluding heart, brain, and spine), coordinating patient care across the perioperative team/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and ancillary staff/n - Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and specimen handling protocols/n - Provide patient-centered care for diverse populations: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n - Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of perioperative nursing practice/n /n/n Experience the charm and hospitality of Kerrville while advancing your career in a supportive and collaborative surgical environment.
