Antonio, TX, within a 14-bed ICU unit of a highly regarded hospital
known for clinical excellence and a positive patient experience.
This 13-week contract position calls for an experienced ICU
Registered Nurse bringing technical skill and compassionate care to
critically ill patients. Located within a facility recognized twice
by The Leapfrog Group with a Hospital Safety Grade of A, this ICU
unit offers a supportive team environment staffed with experienced
professionals, a patient ratio of 1:2, and standard critical care
equipment. Nurses will thrive using the Meditech documentation
system and participating in a rotating schedule with shifts of
7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a, working every other weekend with no call
responsibilities. Key Qualifications: - Active Texas RN license
(temp licenses no longer accepted) - Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing
experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - NIH
certification required - Experience with vasopressors - Meditech
experience preferred but not required - Ability to float per
hospital floating policy Primary Responsibilities: - Deliver
critical care nursing to ICU patients with a high standard of
safety and empathy - Utilize specialized equipment and adhere to
unit-specific protocols - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
members to ensure excellent patient outcomes - Maintain
documentation accuracy in Meditech system - Comply with dress code
