Surgical ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN. This role is pivotal in
implementing exceptional care strategies, providing direct
supervision to nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of
safety and quality care in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Typically reporting directly to unit managers, the Clinical Nurse
Coordinator also assists in administrative tasks such as
scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with healthcare
regulations. This position is ideally suited for individuals
passionate about patient care and effective team management within
a high-stakes surgical ICU environment. Oversee the daily
operations of the surgical ICU unit, including patient care, staff
assignments, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care
plans that provide the highest levels of clinical excellence.
Mentor and support ICU nursing staff, fostering a learning
environment that promotes growth and teamwork. Conduct performance
evaluations and participate in the hiring and training of new
staff. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
while actively responding to patient and family concerns or needs.
Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficiency in clinical EMR systems
In-depth knowledge of ICU operational protocols and procedures
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to

Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification
preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
