Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our Neurological Specialty Unit, providing specialized
care for patients with a variety of neurological disorders. This
role is pivotal in administering exceptional nursing practices
guided by a research-backed clinical protocol, with a focus on
improving patient outcomes. As an RN in our unit, you will be part
of a dynamic team committed to furthering HCA Healthcare’s ethos of
excellence in patient-centered care across our extensive network of
hospitals and care centers. Provide comprehensive nursing care to
neurological patients in an inpatient setting. Assess patient
condition, plan and implement patient care plans tailored to
individual needs. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatment, and self-care skills. Collaborate with
neurologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to
refine patient care strategies. Monitor patient responses to
treatments, modify plans as needed, and meticulously document
patient progress. Participate in professional development
opportunities and contribute to the nursing team’s knowledge base.
Advanced clinical skills specific to neurology Strong patient
assessment and care planning abilities Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-stress
environment Proficiency with medical software and electronic health
record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Certification in Neurological Nursing
(CNRN) preferred
