Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Nurse to join our PACU Recovery Room team. This position is
critical in providing essential care to patients during their
postoperative period, ensuring safety, comfort, and the best
possible recovery outcomes. Our ideal candidate is dedicated to
patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working
across nearly 2,000 sites of care, our nurses are supported with
the latest in healthcare technology, a collaborative team
atmosphere, and opportunities for professional growth. Monitor
patient vital signs and levels of consciousness during the recovery
phase. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses.
Assess patients for complications post-surgery. Provide information
and education to patients and their families about postoperative
care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate
with surgical, anesthesia, and medical teams to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Strong clinical skills in a hospital
setting Ability to make quick, accurate assessments of patient
conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in managing multiple patients simultaneously Strong
documentation and charting abilities Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license
in the state of employment BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
