HCA Healthcare invites qualified candidates to join our team as Registered Nurses in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Our PICU Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering high-quality, specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, infants, and children up to 18 years of age. Working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment, nurses in this role are instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort for our most vulnerable patients. Assess, monitor, and administer care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and multidisciplinary teams Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on individual health needs Administer and explain medications, treatments, and procedures to patients and caregivers Maintain patient records with accuracy and respond swiftly to emergencies Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
