Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN to join our team
of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care in the
field of inpatient rehabilitation. At Encompass Health, our mission
is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare that is
personalized to the needs of our patients. As an LPN/LVN at our
facility, you will work closely with a team of skilled
professionals to assist in the treatment of patients with stroke,
brain injury, and other complex neurological and orthopedic
conditions, helping them achieve their highest levels of
independence. Provide basic clinical care to patients including
monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and keeping
detailed records of patient progress. Assist with the development
and implementation of patient care plans. Collaborate with RNs and
other healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes. Educate
patients and their families on treatment plans and ongoing needs
upon discharge. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Support
departmental operations and provide input into improving patient
care and efficiency. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures High
level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and
function in a high-stress environment Basic understanding of
rehabilitative care and therapies Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN/LVN license in the
state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Optionally, IV
Certification depending on state regulations
