Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Nutrition Services Aide to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch dietary services within our inpatient rehabilitation and health care facilities, ensuring that all patients receive personalized nutritional care. The Nutrition Services Aide will work closely with registered dietitians and healthcare professionals to prepare and deliver food as per dietary requirements, assisting in the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and patient needs. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and dining areas. Monitor dietary supplies and inform management of inventory needs. Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare staff to plan and implement patient dietary care plans. Attend and participate in training and staff meetings regarding nutrition services. Adhere to all health and safety regulations pertaining to food preparation and handling. Knowledge of basic nutrition and dietary needs. Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and hygienic standards in the kitchen. Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
