Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental
Services Manager to join our healthcare team in overseeing the
environmental services department. In this crucial role, you will
be responsible for leading a team of environmental service staff to
ensure our healthcare facilities are clean, safe, and operating at
the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong understanding of infection control,
sanitation standards, and staff management within the healthcare
environment, mirroring Aramark's commitment to excellence and
innovation in facility services. Manage daily operations of the
environmental services department including staffing, scheduling,
and supervision Ensure compliance with all hospital and
governmental regulations regarding sanitation and safety standards
Develop and implement training programs for all environmental
services staff to ensure understanding of all health and safety
regulations Oversee the maintenance and proper use of environmental
service equipment Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure
the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene Collaborate with
hospital administrators and other department managers to optimize
service delivery Manage departmental budget, supplies, and
equipment Strong leadership and personnel management abilities
In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control in
healthcare settings Excellent organizational and time management
skills Ability to develop and train staff on new techniques and
equipment Proficient with budget management and cost control Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work
comfortably in a fast-paced and potentially high-stress environment
Medical Insurance Certified Healthcare Environmental Services
Professional (CHESP) preferred OSHA training and certification in
Hazardous Materials
