DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES The Catering Services Assistant
position has the potential for growth into the Junior Account
Executive position. Responsibilities would include, but are not
limited to: - Reception Work/General Office and Clerical Duties -
Assistant to the Director of Sales and Sales Managers - Assisting
Callers with Questions Regarding Menus, Products and Services -
Managing Small Events and Assisting Clients Through the Food and
Beverage Planning Process - Managing Billing, Payments and Invoices
for Assigned Events - Professionally Representing The RK Group
Throughout the Convention Center and Industry REQUIREMENTS Ideal
candidate would be a confident, self-motivated individual with a
positive disposition. - At least 1 - 2 Years of Experience in a
Professional Office Setting - At least 1-2 Years of Catering,
Convention Services or Hospitality Sales Office Experience -
General Admin Experience and Basic Understanding of Microsoft
Office is a Must - Well-Organized, Professional and with Strong
Verbal Communication Skills - Ability to Work Well in a High
Volume, Fast-Paced Environment - Ability to Work with a Small,
Tight-Knit Team - Inclination to Think Forward and Anticipate Needs
- Availability to Work Occasional Early Mornings, Evenings or
Weekend Days with proper Notification - Experience with any
Catering/Sales Software Systems or Customer Relationship Management
