PeopleSoft ERP Developer – 12 Month Contract – Austin, TX (Onsite) Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months (Long-Term Contract) Employment Type: Contract Industry: Public Sector / Financial Systems / ERP Company: iSphere – IT Consulting & Staffing Solutions Opportunity Overview: iSphere is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft ERP Developer to support a long-term initiative modernizing enterprise financial systems in Austin, TX. This role focuses on enhancing and integrating PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules, performing complex data conversions, and developing new interface programs to and from third-party systems. You’ll join a collaborative team working through all phases of the SDLC, ensuring seamless integration and high-performance ERP operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a PeopleSoft technical expert passionate about large-scale financial systems, legacy data conversion, and building robust integrations in a mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, modify, encode, test, and debug programming systems supporting PeopleSoft ERP applications Develop ETL procedures for data conversion from legacy systems into PeopleSoft Design and build interface programs connecting PeopleSoft to third-party systems Coordinate software integration efforts to ensure complete compatibility with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to review requirements and produce detailed technical design documents Perform SDLC tasks, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in PeopleSoft modules Participate in team meetings using MS Teams, contributing to agile or hybrid development frameworks Provide support during off-hours as required during key project phases Minimum Required Qualifications: Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules 8 Required Development expertise with PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Packages, Application Engine, Cobol, SQR) 8 Required Experience developing integrations using Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) 8 Required Advanced SQL/PLSQL development in Oracle databases 8 Required Experience scripting in Linux OS environments 8 Required Familiarity with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) in PeopleSoft 8 Required Proven ability to analyze business requirements and produce technical design documents 4 Required Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio) 4 Required Experience working in large teams using MS Teams for collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Years Experience 4 Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government) 2 Experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts CAPPS Financials system 2 Experience with Treasury Offset Program (TOP) 2 Experience using SharePoint 1 Experience with Jira for issue tracking and agile workflows 1 Experience working within the Scrum framework 1 Familiarity with STAT for PeopleSoft migrations and change management Why Join iSphere?
