reliability — and we’re growing our team. Job Summary: We are
seeking a High-Pressure Breathing Air Compressor Technician /
Assembler to join our production and service team. This role is
hands-on and involves both building Max-Air compressor units from
the ground up, repair and service installed systems, and technical
phone support. Candidates should be mechanically inclined,
experienced with high-pressure air systems a plus, and motivated to
deliver top-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Assemble
high-pressure breathing air compressors (3,000–6,000 PSI) from
start to finish according to company specifications and schematics
Mount, plumb, wire, and test mechanical and electrical components
during the build process Perform quality control checks and ensure
proper system operation before shipment Service and repair existing
compressor systems in-house and occasionally in the field Conduct
routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and
system diagnostics Install new compressor systems at customer
locations when required Maintain accurate build records, service
logs, and inspection reports Work collaboratively with engineering
and quality teams to improve product design and performance Follow
all safety protocols and ensure compliance with ISO, and company
standards Qualifications: Experience working with high-pressure
breathing air compressors or similar mechanical/electrical systems,
automotive, or any technical field of work Ability to read and
interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics Experience
with electrical wiring, tubing, plumbing, and basic fabrication
Familiarity with Max-Air, Bauer, Mako, or similar compressor brands
is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Must
be a self-starter who can manage tasks independently Valid driver's
license and clean driving record Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and
work in a hands-on manufacturing environment Preferred: Technical
certification or vocational training in mechanical, automotive,
electrical, or industrial systems Background in military,
fire/rescue, or industrial maintenance Knowledge of air
