**D1.1 AWS welding certification is a requirement for this position**Description:Looking for a MIG Welder to join the Fabrication team. Will be responsible for fabricating, welding, bending the steal beams for concrete structures. This position will be an indoor and outdoor role. The person will be doing mostly MIG welding, but could be doing some Stick as well.Essential Functions--- Work as a team with other crew members.--- Maintain an organized and efficient work area.--- Perform the proper daily preventative maintenance as required.--- Ensure that each weld is per industry standard and of the highest quality.--- Determine when a weld is not sufficient enough and will need to be reworked.--- Utilize the proper safety gear/equipment that is provided.--- Change out welding wire and shielding gas when needed.--- Work closely with the shop foreman to determine what order material will need to be welded.--- Help keep all other areas of the department clean and organized.--- Other Duties - this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
