Job Description:
Job Description Our company is a market leader within the AV
industry. There will be core functions that comprise this role:
administrative support, inter-departmental tracking and
communication, and client support. Responsible for supporting the
Operations Manager to help stay organized and complete tasks that
allow the manager to focus on more advanced responsibilities. Job
duties can vary widely, not just from job to job, but from day to
day at the same job. Responsibilities: Handle logistics for all
meetings and events Manage calendar and inbox/email communication
Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings Prepare
communications, such as emails, reports, meeting minutes and other
correspondence Write and edit documents such Standard Operating
Procedures and process development Assist in monitoring labor
expenditures to ensure budgets are maintained Assist with
recruiting and employee on-boarding / off-boarding Assist with
scheduling of contractors for outsourced and subcontract work
Assist in coordinating with Project Managers as necessary to secure
necessary resource allocation Other tasks as assigned
--------------- Qualifications: College Degree required At least 2
years previous experience in a similar role Valid driver---s
license Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Excel and
Word highly preferred. Must be a fast learner Excellent
interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Preferred
Skills: Experience in the Audio Video Lighting and Shades industry
Positive can-do attitude with willingness to learn A sense of
urgency with all tasks Excellent written and verbal communication
Understanding of construction and project management concepts
Customer Service Focused Self-starter ability to get tasks done
with minimal supervision. Additional Notes: This position requires
flexibility and urgency from day to day. The ability to work from
the phone or laptop while riding with the Operations Manager to
multiple job sites is required. It---s important to be able to
transition from scheduling and note taking from the truck to
shifting to taking notes at each job site and passing them along to
the correct teams. Other days may consist of being at the office at
