Our nurses enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $20K student loan payments.We are seeking an experienced Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Night Shift!The Critical Care floor is a 21 bed combined Intensive Care and Progressive Care unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat critically ill patients with a variety of life-threatening medical, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical needs. Our highly skilled team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to keeping our patients and their families healthy.*Job Duties: ** Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care* Assists physicians during examinations and procedures* Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse* Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills* Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals*Minimum Requirements: ** Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire* American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
