Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Account Services Specialist responsible for managing and processing various account types. This role involves data entry, reviewing account completeness, and initiating transfers. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker, detail-oriented, and capable of learning processes and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Enter new account data and review for completeness
  
  
• 
  Answer questions regarding paperwork and account status
  
  
• 
  Initiate incoming transfers and direct rollovers
  
  
• 
  Contact offices when paperwork is incomplete (NIGO)
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues
  
  
• 
  Maintain and update account features (e.g., check writing, margin)
  
  
• 
  Organize and maintain client records
  
  
• 
  Process name changes, SSN corrections, and account closures
  
  
• 
  Educate representatives on account system usage
  
  
  
  Required Skills:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    
    
  • 
    Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
    
    
  • 
    Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Financial services experience is required
    
    
    
    Education and Experience:

      High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
