Our team is diverse, with backgrounds from Management Consulting, Industry, and Software Development, and we continuously seek to improve our collaboration and development.The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for designing complex end-to-end solutions, integrating our flagship products with customer portfolios for both new and existing clients. You will be a technical SME across our offerings, working closely with sales, delivery, data scientists, and customers to map requirements and architect robust solutions.This role involves identifying new product opportunities, working with product managers and tech leads to improve Cognite's SaaS offerings, and fostering a supportive, collaborative team environment.This role is hybrid, based in Austin, Houston, or Phoenix.What You'll Do
    • Expertise in implementing Cognite SaaS offerings and applications.
    • Work with project teams to map requirements, ensuring quality implementation covering data visualization, transformation, modeling, and integrations.
    • Design technical solutions, ensure fit within the customer ecosystem, and define operational responsibilities.
    • Use tools like Power BI, Grafana, Plotly Dash, Databricks, Azure, GCP, AWS, SQL, Python/Java, Rest APIs, and Cognite data connectors.
    • Advise customers and partners on Cognite Data Fusion.Who You Are
      • 7+ years as an application/data/solution/enterprise architect.
      • 2+ years experience in heavy asset industries like downstream, petrochemicals, or energy.
      • Experience with operational data, business drivers, data and analytics projects, and technical stacks.
      • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
      • Consulting experience, enterprise integration, data modeling, and infrastructure architecture skills.
