Job DetailsDescriptionRole Summary:This Warehouse Associate is responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving, safely loading and unloading trucks, and accurate picking/putting of product. Essential Competencies of the Role (3 - 5 Primary Areas):This list of competencies is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other areas of responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.1. Responsible for examining shipment contents by comparing with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment.2. Responsible for loading / unloading trucks per Best Practices3. Responsible for accurately and properly picking/putting product in trays4. Accurately place route / stop tags on trays to be loaded into trucks5. Responsible for date coding and pricing of products6. Complete required safety training on monthly basis7. Follow all -Good House Keeping- and Best Practices; work environment must be kept clean, including mopping up spills immediately.8. Responsible for any set up of equipment and maintain records where applicable.Required Qualifications:1. Must be at least 18 years of age2. Must be willing to work weekends, and holidays or varied shifts when requested to support the 24/7 business.3. Must be able to practice good team work and effectively communicate with CDC customers and employees.4. Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.5. Good understanding of basic math skills6. Must be able to read and speak basic English 7. Must meet and maintain required productivity per hourPreferred Qualification (if Applicable):1. Previous work in a warehouse - fast paced environment2. Previous picking experience3. Previous loading/unloading experiencePhysical Demands and Work Environment:1. Ability to work in environments from 35 degrees to 75 degrees for long periods of time2. Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.3. Must be able to be on your feet, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, push, and pull for a minimum of eight hours a day.4.
