Haute Spot is looking for an awesomely talented Venue Events & Sales Manager to join our team. The Venue Events & Sales Manager will be responsible for managing all booking of events for Haute Spot Event Venue, ensuring the high quality of event execution, as well as, handle the operations of the venue. Haute Spot is a premier live music venue located in the heart of Central Texas, offering a full-service restaurant and event space for wedding, conferences, meetings, and more. We are a high performing organization and work together as a team of passionate collaborators who are constantly going above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Be Doing Manage all maintenance and repairs of the venue grounds, property, equipment, and facilities. Ensure that the venue and facilities are clean and organized.Manage all bookings for events and liaising with the clients to determine event requirements.Prepare venue hire packages and pricing options and negotiate with clients.Supervise all staff including grounds men, event staff, and maintenance personal.Schedule and coordinate the rental of sound equipment, furniture, and other venue equipment.Respond to all event inquiries and convert inquiries into booked eventsClearly communicate to prospective clients the features and benefits of the company's properties and event packagesConsistently meet or exceed individual monthly sales goalWork with clients to plan and coordinate details of eventsUnderstand the unique needs of different types of events, such as corporate events, birthday parties and other social events What You'll Need to SucceedA minimum of 2 years' experience as a venue or event manager preferred.Bachelor's degree in events management, hospitality, or similar preferred.Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs.
