Job Description:
San Marcos Academy (SMA), located in San Marcos, one of the

Serve as a role model for students Observe policies, procedures,
and directives from school administration Integrate technology into
curriculum delivery Implement effective classroom and behavior
management skills Keep student management system up-to-date with
grades and lesson plans (Blackbaud Education Management) Manage
support materials (curriculum manipulatives and technology devices)
used throughout the year Work collegially with others Incorporate
best practices into classroom instructional strategies Come to
class/work each day with materials and plans fully prepared for the
day Employ school-wide adopted curriculum as directed by the school
administration Embrace school-wide initiatives for student growth
and spiritual development Plan and deliver engaging,
standards-aligned instruction Foster students’ development of
critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
