plan! The District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for managing
the Regional Sales Managers in a specified area to achieve sales
objectives and overall corporate goals. The DSM will play an
integral role in the success of the Sales Team. Responsibilities
Assist Senior Management with the development of marketing and
sales plans for Healthcare Services Assist Senior Management with
annual sales expense budgets and revenue projections Meet and
exceed set area sales quotas while adhering to sales processes
Continuously learn about new services and improve selling skills
Stay well-informed about current industry trends and able to speak
intelligently about the drug-testing industry Attend and
participate in sales meetings, professional seminars and trade
shows Prepare written presentations, reports and proposals Define
and execute area sales plans Develop positive relationships with
other Team Members Make and deliver professional presentations
Effectively communicate with Management Travel up to 60% of the
time Provide supervision to others through motivation, direction,
review and feedback of assigned tasks Supervise work through the
planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of
tasks Supervise team members in their work assignments and
performance development Supervise/manage/direct in the selection,
training, development, and appraisal of team Participate in process
improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis,
and implementation of controls Participate in proactive team
efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Provide
leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety concerns to
supervisor Other duties as required and assigned EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree required A minimum of five (5) years
of sales experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device,
or related industry required Ability to work independently Proven
success prospecting; building a pipeline; moving opportunities
through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing
solutions with physicians, office managers and other prospects
Valid driver’s license required (must meet insurability
requirements) Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time
