Operations Support and Integration First Line Manager Company:
Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Defense, Space and Security
(BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support and
Integration First Line Manager (level K) to support the Executive
Fleet and Bombers Operations in San Antonio, TX. The Leader is
responsible for Line Side Control Centers, supplemental support
activities, and special projects. This role oversees a group of
support personnel across multiple Programs. This role is also
responsible for interfacing and leading activities involving
cross-organizational support and working with key leaders across
the site. The position requires excellent cross-functional
communication, experience and knowledge of both manufacturing and
support activities along with leadership or management experience.
Position Responsibilities: Daily management and resolution of shop
floor constraints alongside direct reports Teaming with the
Operations leadership to lead and manage the Line Side Control
Center (LSCC) for various programs Engages with multiple levels of
functional leadership (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Materials
Management) to achieve program objectives Engage in program
improvement initiatives (Oobeya, work flow reduction, quality
improvements, etc.) Develops plans for long-range strategies,
organizational goals, objectives and initiatives with Sr.
Management Researches and evaluates program issues and leads issue
resolution efforts Provides feedback on assessment results and
identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of
risk Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced
Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing
Production System for internal or external customers. Conducts
assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable
standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data Works with
organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve
business objectives Works at the appropriate level in the
organization to implement strategies and plans Boeing First-Line
Leader Assessment : To be considered for this position you will be

consideration. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a
leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross
functional project/program management, or formal manager
experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring
Leadership.” 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 3
years of experience in manufacturing, production, or maintenance
engineering with commercial or military airplane programs 3 years
of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing 3
years of work experience in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g.
creating Pivot tables in Excel) and creating database program
applications (e.g. Access applications) 3 years of experience
leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive
leadership Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher 3 years of management experience 3
years of project management experience Active Yankee White Conflict

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $111,350
– $150,650 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Not
